Mending the line while fly fishing ensures that the fly drifts through the current in its most natural way. If you don’t mend your line, the fish won’t bite. They recognize a fake when they see it.

    When you’re on the hunt for big fish in big waters, you need a 10 weight rod to get the job done. A 10 weight rod isn’t for the small stuff. You’re angling for trophy catches. A 10 Weight membership outfits you with:

    • Monthly process groups (“The Hatch”) with like-minded professionals. 2 hours.
    • Monthly 50-minute consultations with Andy.
    • Optional 3 day guided fly fishing trip. Dates & details provided to members.

  • 5 Weight: For covering virtually any type of river or stream

    Every fly fisherman has a 5 weight rod. It’s standard equipment to cover virtually any type of river or stream. It can finesse an 8” rainbow or tackle an 18” brown. It’s your go-to rod. Stable. Steady. Proven. And that’s exactly who you are in the business world. A 5 Weight membership outfits you with:

    • Monthly process groups (“The Hatch”) with like-minded professionals. 2 hours.
    • Monthly 25-minute consultations with Andy.
    • Optional 3 day guided fly fishing trip. Dates & details provided to members.

  • 3 Weight: Travel light and trek into unexplored waters

    You’re on an adventure. You travel light and trek into unexplored waters. All you need is a 3 weight rod. But you still need a map, compass, and some intel from those who’ve gone there before. After all, local knowledge of the landscape is your best bet for success. A 3 Weight membership outfits you with:

    • Monthly process groups (“The Hatch”) with like-minded professionals. 2 hours.
    • Optional 3 day guided fly fishing trip. Dates & details provided to members.

The Hatch

When the hatch is on, the fish are biting. Each month, MendingLines members will gather for a two hour Hatch, with a different professional development topic each quarter.
